With modern hair colouring techniques, the possibilities for hair colour are endless. We can customise the perfect colour combination to enhance your eyes, skin tone, create texture for a great haircut or simply add gloss and shine to your hair. We use only the highest quality low ammonia colours available and our products are not tested on animals. Yoshiko has a reputation as a dream salon for blondes and our clients travel from all over Melbourne and interstate to visit the Yoshiko. All our team members are highly skilled colourists and we produce two signature seasonal colour collections each year.

Straightening
Japanese
A signature treatment at Yoshiko hair, Japanese straightening is a four-stage straightening process that will leave your hair perfectly straight, shiny and totally frizz free. Originating from Japan, this process was the first and we think still the best straightening technique of its kind on the market.

If your hair is not as manageable and smooth as you’d like it to be, due to frizzyness dryness and dullness, then a keratin treatment could be the perfect solution. A Keratin treatment is not a straightening treatment but a smoothing treatment that leaves your hair in the most beautiful condition. Keratin treatments usually last for around three months, although most of our clients get 5-6 months from our treatments.

Olaplex and Conditioning Treatments
Yoshiko stock an entire range of luxurious treatments designed enhance the condition of your hair. Power dose, Shu Uemura and Shiatsu are designed to address a range of hair conditions as well as seasonal variations. Olaplex is the leading bond protector on the market and a must for all blondes. It strengthens the hair bonds during the colouring process to prevent damage occurring. All Yoshiko treatments are followed by a blow-dry service, ensuring you leave the salon looking and feeling fabulous.

Hair extensions
At Yoshiko we only do hair extensions with real hair that hasn’t had the cuticle layer removed. This ensures your hair looks soft and shiny and helps achieve a perfect colour match with your natural hair. The extensions are bonded into your hair with adhesive that is easily removed when required. As your hair is constantly growing, we recommend having your extensions repositioned every 8 weeks, to keep your hair looking at its absolute best.
